Ayer Building

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Completed in 1929 and designed by Ralph Bencker, the Ayer Building stands as a striking example of Art Deco design for the city of Philadelphia. BCA prepared an interior finishes analysis of the ornate lobby ceiling in order to make recommendations for appropriate restoration paint colors to be implemented as part of the building's conversion to residential use.

The project won a 2008 award from the Preservation Alliance for Greater Philadelphia.
