New York, New York
The rescue of Carnegie Hall (1891) from the wrecker's ball is a well known preservation success story. Restoration of the Hall was a multi-milllion dollar phased effort over a period of fifteen years. From 1983 until 1995, BCA played a pivotal role for repairs and cosmetic treatments to the exterior envelope.
The project was awarded the Historic Preservation Award by The Preservation League of New York State.
