Boston, Massachusetts
The YWCA Building was built in 1929 and designed by Shepard & Stearns Architects of Boston. It is a thirteen story iron and masonry building clad in brick and trimmed with limestone, cast stone, blue tile, and paneled brick. In 2002-2003 BCA completed a survey of existing conditions of the exterior masonry. Treatment recommendations were recorded on architectural drawings and documented by photographs. Specifications for restoration work were prepared as well.
